Marine Biologics Inc. is hiring a Director of Marketing to lead the company’s marketing effort. The Director of Marketing will have ownership of the go-to-market plan, identifying early launch markets for Marine Biologics and developing a comprehensive profile of our first target customer. The Director of Marketing will work closely with the CTO and product team to steer the design of the company’s product roadmap, with a detailed focus on customer and market needs. Travel or relocation may be required for this role. Initially, this role will be filled on a remote basis.
The Director of Marketing will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Identifying beachhead markets
- Understanding and documenting customer needs
- Developing market intelligence and an analysis of the competitive landscape
- Managing comprehensive go-to-market planning and strategy
- Providing market-driven requirements to the product roadmap
- Developing sales and marketing collateral for customer acquisition
- Architecting the brand attributes and design elements for Marine Biologics Inc.
Full-time, market rate.
- Experience organizing and conducting market and product research
- Experience working in biotechnology or pharmaceuticals
- Proven track record with successful go-to-market campaigns
- Product development experience is ideal
- Education: BA in a relevant field, at minimum
- Experience: 5 to 10 years of experience required
